ACE

A mobile-first system that makes everyday effort visible through profiles, XP, review, rewards, shared rooms, and a bounded credit economy.

The question

How can progress become visible without adding more friction?

Many systems for chores, habits, and learning ask a person to manage the system before they can do the work. ACE takes the opposite approach: make logging an action quick, then return an immediate signal that the effort counted.

The product is organized around a household rather than a single generic user. One account can manage distinct profiles, approval settings, tasks, rewards, shared rooms, and credit ledgers while each person retains a legible path of their own.

The system

What holds it together

01

Log the action

A one-hand, mobile-first flow keeps chores, studying, reading, habits, and custom goals close to the moment they happen.

02

Keep identities clear

The signed-in account owns settings and administration; profiles represent the people whose progress, rewards, and balances are being tracked.

03

Return a useful signal

XP, levels, rewards, and credits translate completed effort into several forms of feedback without collapsing them into a single score.

04

Make governance explicit

Review queues, profile-specific approval, task controls, room assignments, and ledgers keep household rules inspectable rather than implicit.

How it moves

From responsibility to reinforcement

ACE connects a short action loop to the larger structures a household needs to coordinate work fairly.

  1. Choose

    Start from the active profile

The interface keeps the selected person visible so an action is recorded in the right progress history.

  2. Log

    Record what was actually done

A task can carry base XP and optional bonuses while keeping the interaction short enough for a phone.

  3. Review

Apply oversight where it is needed

Profiles that require approval enter a review queue; other actions can resolve immediately.

  4. Return

    Show the consequence

Progress appears through levels, rewards, room state, and a credit ledger that records gains, costs, and dividends.

What the product is for

Motivation as an environment, not a lecture

ACE is an attempt to put reinforcement, clarity, and household coordination into the environment around an action. The product does not ask motivation to arrive first; it gives completed effort somewhere visible to land.

That makes ACE both practical and personal. It is a working application shaped around real coordination needs, while the public case study stays at the level of the interaction model and deliberately excludes private household data.
